Leocor Farms is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit horse sanctuary, classified as a 509(a)(2) public charity, nestled in the rolling hills of Troupsburg. We are dedicated to providing a safe, long-term home for rescued, retired, and at-risk horses.
Through compassionate care, open pastures, and a peaceful rural environment, we restore dignity, trust, and well-being to every horse who comes through our gates. Horses who arrive here stay here — rehabilitation is never conditional on adoption.

What we do
Three commitments, kept every single day
Sanctuary work is unglamorous and relentless: hay at dawn, water in January, farrier visits, vet bills, fence repairs. These are the promises that structure it.
Rescue & Protection
Immediate safety and long-term sanctuary for horses facing neglect, hardship, or an uncertain future — including intake support and quarantine.
Pasture Living
Natural herd environments with safe shelter, spacious turnouts, quality forage, and attentive daily care through every season.
Community Support
Volunteers, sponsors, and neighbors who show up for chores, fence lines, and fundraising make this sanctuary possible.

We operate on a strict zero-administrative-overhead model, run entirely by dedicated volunteers. No experience with horses is required — most of what needs doing is honest, teachable work.
